The pediatric gastroenterology clinic, directed by Dr. David Gremse, provides consultative services for children with digestive diseases and clinical research to offer the latest in care to children.

Dr. Gremse is an active basic science and clinical researcher. He has participated as a principal investigator in more than 20 clinical trials that evaluate the efficacy and safety of pharmacologic treatments for gastroenterological diseases in children. His research on gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD), irritable bowel syndrome and hepatic function and toxicity are extensively published in peer-reviewed medical journals.

Dr. Gremse is chair of the pediatrics department at the University of Nevada School of Medicine.

Dr. Rebecca Scherr is an assistant professor of pediatric gastroenterology with a research interest in inflammatory bowel disease affecting children.
