Behavioral and Developmental Pediatrics

The behavioral and developmental pediatrics clinic, directed by Dr. Johanna Fricke, evaluates and treats children with behavioral and developmental problems including attention deficit hyperactivity syndrome, autism, fetal alcohol syndrome and developmental delay.

The clinic is the only one staffed by a board-certified behavioral and developmental pediatrician in Las Vegas.

Dr. Fricke serves at state and local organizations as commissioner of the Nevada Mental Health and Developmental Services, consultant to the High Functioning Autism and Asperger's Support Group and Parents Encouraging Parents as a liaison with Partners in Education.

She also trains physician residents in behavioral developmental pediatrics at the University of Nevada School of Medicine.

Dr. Fricke collaborated with Dr. Colleen Morris in the clinical genetics division on genotype-phenotype correlation with Williams Syndrome and in the development of a fetal alcohol syndrome clinic.

Dr. Fricke and Dr. Julie Beasley are part of the medical team at the Lili Claire Family Resource Center. They hold a clinic which focuses on behavioral, developmental and educational issues and provides assessment and recommendations for intervention.
